I woke up this morning to my mama shouting "YOU HAVE NINE MINUTES UNTIL WE HAVE TO LEAVE!!!!" She wasn't talking to me. My sister Rebekah and I are students at WKU; so we still have about three weeks of Winter Break. She was talking to my youngest sister Jessica, who sets her alarm on her phone for 5:45 a.m. on school days and doesn't wake up until 6:45. So we begin our day.
Well, my mama and Christina and Jessica begin their day. My dad had already woken up around 4:00 a.m. and went to work. I slept until 10:00 hahahaha. Nah, I usually don't sleep that late, honestly. When school is in session I wake up at 7:00 a.m. like clockwork. Today though, I slept in. It's a good thing I did too! I washed seven loads of laundry and folded them all. Laundry in our house never, ever ends. With six people, who would expect anything less?
Before I knew it, the time was 5:00 p.m. and the family was home, sitting at the table together for dinner. Rebekah made spaghetti; it was delicious.
Now onto what makes this day special. It starts happening when the weather starts getting cold and the sun starts going down earlier... watching television. My family doesn't watch t.v. in the summer, and especially not in the fall when marching band season is going on. But when Winter comes around, we love to watch television, especially on Tuesdays. Tuesday is Biggest Loser day. Something about fat people getting skinny really pulls at a our heart strings :)
We also love Smallville. Now, we don't keep up with the current season. We started in around season four and watched through five and six, then we got lost again. So, my sister's boyfriend JJ bought us all seven seasons for Christmas this year. We just watch an episode a night.... that's a lie. We watch at least two. Sometimes, though, we get a little carried away....
