Back to Class. Whoop Whoop!

Stand up and cheer! Stand up and cheer for dear old Western!!! (and really easy Biology classes!)

That's right! I'm back on the hill this week, and today was the first day of classes. This semester I'm taking an eighteen hour class load, working as PASS leader, and youth pastoring at First Apostolic. It's gonna be so much fun! And so much work... but it's all good :)

So, great story about my first day:

In case you didn't know, I hate science. I take that back, I hate Biology (I took a summer geology course, and like some kind of nerd I loved it). I tried to take Biology my first semester as a freshman here at WKU, but my teacher was from India and that combined with my lack of skills caused me to drop the class. So here I am, second semester sophomore, going at it again, and the Lord has blessed me already! I tell ya, there's nothing like His favor!
So I walked into class today and suddenly felt as though I had walked into the twilight zone. The wrong professor was in my classroom! I checked my schedule three or four times, looked at the door number, I was in the right classroom, but professor Bowker was not standing in front of me. Instead, this lady, Professor Cantrell was standing there. She said class would be short today so I decided to stick it out and see what was going on. She proceeded to tell the class that we could go ahead and sell our books back because we would not need them (which was good, because if you could see how much books cost for an 18-hour class load, you would die). She also let us know that our grades would consist of two, multiple-choice test and one article review (easy shmeasy) and if we do any work for volunteering we could get up to 20 points extra credit ( I live to volunteer! :) ). So, I'm thinking, "this class is too good to be true." But it wasn't. As soon as I got out of class I went to the computer lab and checked my schedule: MWF Bio 113, Professor Cantrell. I'm not crazy, I promise, because the schedule I printed a few weeks ago said Professor Bowker, I just know God changed that for me.

Probably because He knew my Spanish teacher refuses to talk to me in anything but Spanish. How much Spanish do I know? Zip. Nada. Zero.
