Well, it's February 7 people and my hometown got six inches of snow today. My sisters haven't been to school a full week since December... it's nuts!!!
However, I can't say that much for BG. We've gotten plenty of snow alright, but there has been no cancellation of the classes. Boo.
So what have I been doing? Hmmmm... this does not qualify for my "A Day in the Life" series, which is good, because if you were to read this as a day in the life, you might start to think we are lame, unlike the picture I tried to paint of my family a month or so ago.
Today I got out of class at 1:35, and, instead of coming directly back to the room, changing, and going to the gym as I had planned, I found myself dragging two frozen feet and a wet head into the dorm. I put my hair up in a towel, laid my shoes on the heater and bundled up on the bed with my laptop. Rebekah and I then watched as many episodes as possible of Grey's Anatomy on Cucirca. Yeah, so pathetic. However, I did manage to finish three Spanish assignments, read a book for my LME class, AND read my Bible. Good times.
There is one kid from BG who I know the Lord has been working on lately. I stood there and prayed for him in the altar as tears just fell from his face. Last night, Sis. Tammy texted me to tell me that Bailey had been filled with the Holy Ghost Sunday night at church! Regardless of the fact that I was unable to be there, I still feel so encouraged in the Lord. I know He is up to something really great and I am just humbled that somehow He found me and wants to use me. It's unbelievable.
This weekend has renewed my spirit and I am ready to serve the Lord with a new fire. I was studying today and came across one of my favorite verses, Jude 20-23.

BUT PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
I can't believe this wasn't the first thing I blogged about! On Saturday night I went to a youth service with my youth group from home as well as my youth group from the Bowling Green church and it was so awesome! Bro. Jonathan Denton preached an unbelievable message and my kids definitely got a touch from the Lord in the altar. There is one kid from BG who I know the Lord has been working on lately. "But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Be merciful to those who doubt;snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear–hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh."
What if we always lived with that kind of intensity? What if we were constantly striving to build our faith and to "snatch others from the fire"? It would change this world.
