Would You Believe the Evidence?

In order to get into the holiday spirit, earlier I sat down to watch the movie "Elf" with my family. That movie is stinkin' hilarious, I must say. But tonight one of the scenes spurred an inspirational thought I thought I would share with you, the reader of my blog :)

You probably know the scene I'm talking about, its after the entire town has seen santa pull away in his sleigh, and their all singing "Santa Clause is Coming to Town." The news reporter comes on the screen and says, "Well people, we'll never know what we saw here this Christmas..."

I thought that was pretty funny. They saw Santa Clause pull away in his sleigh and STILL the news reporter said "We'll never know what we saw here..." I mean come on, REALLY??? They saw Santa and still wouldn't admit to it.

People are the exact same way about God. They see his works, they see the miracles he performs, and the evidence of his existance all around. And do they believe? No. And why not? They have every reason to!

So ask yourself this question: you've seen the evidence, do you believe?
